The Archies new poster: Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, and the gang are ready to take us back to the 60s

The Archies, a movie that Zoya Akhtar has directed, is one of the most anticipated on Netflix. Reason? Because it brings back the fan-favourite comic on the screen with an Indian twist. Also, a bunch of newcomers, including Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, and Suhana Khan, are getting launched in Bollywood with this film. Now, after dropping a hint about new updates on The Archies, the makers have unveiled the first poster of the film.

The poster features all the actors posing on a couch with a vintage backdrop. They look stylish as ever and straight from the retro era in the new photo. Along with Agastya, Khushi, and Suhana, the poster also features Dot, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, and Yuvraj Menda.

While sharing the poster, Zoya captioned it on her Instagram page, "Take a trip to Riverdale. We have saved you a seat. Meet the Archies gang. These seven young actors will portray the iconic roles of the Archie Comics universe. Earlier, the announcement, which features members of the cast and an infectious song by Ankur Tiwari and the Islanders, gave fans a taste of the universe that Zoya intends to bring to life.

The film centres on the famous group known as The Archies, and it captures the spirit of the sixties young people well. A musical journey brimming with youth, defiance, camaraderie, first love, and everything else that defines the young adult years, it promises to offer something for listeners of all ages. Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya, Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan, and Sridevi's daughter Khushi are making their Bollywood debuts with the Netflix original film. The release date is yet to be announced.
