The Archies, Heart of Stone & more: Here's when all the Netflix biggies will be available to stream

Netflix has returned with its marquee event Tudum to make an emphatic announcement about what's to come. The global live-streamed event held in São Paulo, Brazil, was an opportunity for the streamer to boast about its upcoming slate of releases which includes a range of long-form content or web series and a wide selection of original films from across the world.
Hosted by Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Chase Stokes and Maisa Silva, Tudum 2023 turned out to be a bustling event as expected with a huge crowd in attendance, as the rest of the world maintained a keen eye on the major updates emerging. Netflix would announce the release dates of all the major shows - from new entrants such as Heart of Stone, The Archies and Rebel Moon to veterans like Stranger Things and Too Hot to Handle - that will be out through the remainder of 2023.
The Archies
Zoya Akhtar's much-awaited reimagination of The Archies world brings Riverdale to 1960s India and adds a tinge of desi vibrancy, while retaining the original ethos and charm. The cast includes an array of newcomers which includes Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda (as Archie Andrews), Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan (Veronica Lodge), Janhvi Kapoor's sister Khushi Kapoor (Betty Lodge), Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, Aditi Seigal and others. Tudum 2023 revealed the first trailer of The Archies but announced that the film doesn't have a release date yet. In other words, it is "coming soon"
Heart of Stone
Indian actors seemed to have found a penchant for global spy actioners as Alia Bhatt, following Priyanka Chopra's stint, now steps into this world. She will be seen as Keya Dhawan in the Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan-led Heart of Stone, a film that follows charismatic intelligence operatives who must tread dangerous paths in order to keep enemies of peace at bay. Heart of Stone will release on Netflix on August 11
Avatar: The Last Airbender
Netflix's upcoming array of releases includes three live-action adaptations of Avatar: The Last Airbender, One Piece and Liu Cixin's sci-fi work 3 Body Problem. Avatar: The Last Airbender, which has previously been reimagined as a video game series and a feature film, will be released as a live-action series which will debut on Netflix soon. The streamer, though, refrained from sharing the exact release date but released a cryptic trailer to announce that the series will premiere in 2024.
The Three-Body Problem
Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are back together for a rivetting series on Liu Cixin's three-part sci-fi book series of the same name. The new teaser launched by Netflix at Tudum 2023 offers a peek into the mesmeric world that Cixin has conceived and the show is set to drop in January 2024.
One Piece
Rebel Moon
Zack Snyder's epic project has been in the works for some time now but with very few details available out there. Tudum 2023 did not reveal a lot either but made sure to share a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes that sees Snyder at the creative helm as he brings the distinct vision to life.
The sci-fi project, which stars Sofia Boutella, Charlie Hunnam, Ray Fisher, Anthony Hopkins and others, will start streaming on December 22nd.
Stranger Things Season 5
Terminator star Linda Hamilton joins the much-awaited season 5 of Stranger Things, but there is Netflix is yet to reveal the release date. Well, that's a bummer.
The Witcher Season 3
The Witcher made the news when Henry Cavill announced that he would exit the show after the completion of Season 3, leaving countless fans furious and heartbroken. The upcoming season will release in two batches of episodes, with episodes 1-5 out on June 29 and 6-8 releasing on July 27.
