Actor Vedang Raina is one of the upcoming faces of Bollywood, and is busy shooting for his debut film, The Archies. The youngster had recently attended the screening of Madhavan's latest release, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect and spent some quality time with none other than the former scientist Nambi Narayanan himself, who was in attendance, too.
Vedang Raina not only met him, but also took his blessing, and the ISRO scientist graced him with his best wishes. All of his fans were delighted to see him meet the legend. Madhavan's Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is a biopic on the former space scientist Nambi Narayanan, who was falsely accused of espionage and was arrested and put behind bars. The film also marks Madhavan's directorial debut.
In the meantime, Vedang Raina is all set to make his debut in Bollywood with Zoya Akhtar's The Archies, which is said to be the Indian adaptation of the popular Archies comic series. The film is directed by Zoya Akhtar and is written by Zoya, Ayesha DeVitre and John L Goldwater. Vedang will essay the role of Reggie Mantle. Vedang recently completed shooting for the first leg of his debut film.
Vedang will be seen sharing the screen with Suhana Khan, Agastya Nada, Khushi Kapoor, Dot, Mihir Ahuja, and Yuvraj Menda. Zoya had recently shared a poster from the film that featured the primary star cast in their Archies avatar. The film is expected to be released next year on the popular streaming platform Netflix. The trailer received mixed reactions from the audience, while some stated that it is too Caucasian, many others likened it to an online shopping portal ad. Some even called it nepotism as the film features many star kids.
In the meantime, Vedang Raina is already an internet sensation with his music videos. He has dropped a couple of videos where he can be seen humming the lyrics of Khalid's Talk and The Weeknd's Earned It. The youngster's fan following is witnessing a steady rise.
