The Akaali, the recently released Tamil film starring veteran actor Nasser in the lead role, is all set to make its digital premiere. The film will be available for streaming on Aha Tamil from July 19 onwards. It will also be available on OTTplay Premium.

The Akaali, the 2024 Tamil film featuring Nasser in a prominent role, will be available for streaming on OTTplay Premium and Aha Tamil from July 19. The film is written and directed by Mohamed Asif Hameed in his directorial debut and hit big screens on May 31. The Akaali's cast comprises Swayam Siddha, Nasser, Vinoth Kishan, Arjai, Jayakumar, Thalaivasal Vijay, Vinothini, Yamini, Dharani Reddy, and Elavarasan, among others.

The technical crew consists of Gir Murphy D.F.T handling the cinematography and editing by Iniyavan Pandian. Dinesh Kasi has coordinated the stunts and music has been scored by Anish Mohan. The Akaali is produced by P Ukeshvaraan under the banner PBS Productions.
The film revolves around a newly appointed officer who while investigating an old case, finds herself coming face-to-face with occult gangs who have been at the helm of a series of satanic killings in the place. Will she be able to stop this and solve the case, forms the rest of the story.
