Thank You: Naga Chaitanya, Raashi Khanna starrer, directed by Vikram K Kumar, gets a release date!

Naga Chaitanya, who began the year on a positive note with the success of Bangarraju, has an exciting lineup of releases. Interestingly two of the projects involve his Manam filmmaker Vikram K Kumar. While the two are working on a feature film, Thank You, they'll also come together for Amazon Prime Video's web show Dhootha. Thank You, bankrolled by Dil Raju and Shirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations, also stars Raashi Khanna, Avika Gor and Malvika Nair in pivotal roles.

The makers of Thank You announced the film's release date today. The coming of age tale will hit theatres on July 8 across the globe. Announcing the same, the production house wrote, "The date is finally set to say #ThankYou. The much awaited #ThankYouTheMovie is releasing on July 8th 2022 worldwide in theatres." The makers also shared a poster of a bespectacled Naga Chaitanya walking in a snowy region while wearing an overcoat. 

Thank You has a terrific technical team, with in-form composer Thaman scoring the music, ace cinematographer PC Sreeram cranking the camera besides roping in national-award winning technician Navin Nooli as an editor. BVS Ravi has written the script of Thank You. The team also shared that the teaser and the singles from the feel-good entertainer will be out shortly. Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi fame Sai Sushanth Reddy essays a key role as well. This is Naga Chaitanya-Raashi Khanna's second project together after Venky Mama.

Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya and Vikram K Kumar's next collaboration, the horror web show Dhootha, is set to release in August/September this year. Produced by Sharrath Marar, Dhootha also marks Parvathy Thiruvothu's Telugu debut while also featuring Prachi Desai, Tharun Bhascker, Priya Bhavani Shankar in crucial roles. The filming of Dhootha has already begun and a glimpse of the same was unveiled during Amazon Prime Video's event (on their upcoming titles) in Mumbai.
