Thangalaan: Pa Ranjith's pictures from ongoing KGF schedule out, fans of Chiyaan Vikram delighted

The shooting of Thangalaan has been going on at a brisk pace at Kolar Gold Fields for a while. The team has been teasing movie buffs by unveiling a few stills from the location at regular intervals. Vikram had posted some uber-cool pics of his a few days ago, leaving his fans elated.

Malavika Mohanan, one of the female leads in the project, released a picture of hers recently which was clicked by the Cobra star. She has now unveiled a still of director Pa Ranjith from the set. The Master actress also posted, "And every day we push our limits more and more (sic)."

As if this isn't enough, a couple of stills of the filmmaker are now doing the rounds on social media. He is seen wearing a hoodie amid the backdrop of KGF. The movie's story revolves around a community which has been exploited in Kolar Gold Fields during the 19th century.

Thangalaan is expected to hit the screens later this year. The film which is being bankrolled by Studio Green is likely to be Vikram's third release in 2023 after Ponniyin Selvan 2 and Dhruva Natchathiram.

GV Prakash has composed music for Thangalaan which has Kishore handling cinematography and RK Selva in charge of editing. The musician had informed his fans a while ago that he has been trying a fusion genre for the film and that it will be a new experience for music lovers.

The movie is Ranjith's big ticket flick after Rajinikanth's Kaala which was released in 2018. Last directed Natchathiram Nagargiradhu, he will be helming Sarpatta 2 next, the sequel to the successful Sarpatta Parambarai.
