Master was a career-changing film for many involved with it - from Lokesh Kanagaraj to Malavika Mohanan and Arjun Das. Despite COVID-19, the film was a raging success at the box office and later premiered on OTT via Amazon Prime Video. Vijay Sethupathi, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Nassar too played pivotal roles in the film which had a stupendous music score by Anirudh Ravichander.
As part of the interaction, the actress also disclosed her fondness for Dhanush’s romantic comedy Thiruchitrambalam. “Of the films I saw in the last year I absolutely loved & enjoyed watching #Thiruchitrabalam ! Was a cute, fun & lovable film it was no?!” she tweeted. While not revealing much, she spoke of her experience working on Thangalaan as well.
"#Thangalaan has been the most challenging one so far. Have never had to push myself as much ever in life. I really really hope you guys like the character & my performance. Would mean so much,” she shared. While sharing her pick between Dunki and Salaar for Christmas, Malavika wrote “Really excited for both but if I had to pick one I would say #Salaar. loved the teaser & thought Prabhas sir & Prithviraj sir looked too cool in it!”
