Thalavan on OTT: Where to watch Asif Ali, Biju Menon’s in Tamil and Hindi?

Thalavan, the crime thriller directed by Jis Joy, had its theatrical release in May 2024. The movie, which stars Asif Ali and Biju Menon in the lead roles, emerged as a major critical and commercial success. Director Jis Joy, who is best known for his feel-good films, tried a hand in the thriller genre with the movie, which is now gearing up for its OTT release. As reported earlier, Thalavan will have its digital debut on Sony LIV, on September 10, 2024.

Thalavan Tamil and Hindi on OTT

As mentioned before, Thalavan is slated to have its OTT release on Sony LIV, on September 10, 2024, ahead of the Onam celebrations of the year. The Asif Ali-Biju Menon starrer is slated to be released on the popular streaming platform in five languages, including the original Malayalam, and the four dubbed versions including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. The much-loved film, which emerged as the biggest bit in both Asif Ali and Biju Menon’s careers, will be also available for streaming on OTTplay Premium.

All about Thalavan

In the Jis Joy directorial, scripted by Anand Thevarkkat and Sarath Perumbavoor, Biju Menon played the role of Jayshankar, a Circle Inspector of Police who gets promoted as DYSP. Asif Ali, on the other hand, played Karthik Vasudevan, a Sub Inspector who soon got promoted to Circle Inspector. The movie revolves around an investigation that happens in a police station, and the hierarchy in the team that causes some major issues and some disturbances in the proceedings.

Thalavan features Miya George, Anusree, Sujith Shankar, Dileesh Pothan, Ranjith, Kottayam Nazeer, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Jaffar Idukki, Tessa Joseph, Bilas Chandrahasan, Anand Bal, Renjith Shankar, and others in the supporting roles. Deepak Dev composed the songs and original score for the movie. Sharan Velayudhan is the director of photography. Sooraj ES has handled the editing. which is bankrolled by Arun Narayan Productions and London Studios.
