Thalapathy Vijay's father SA Chandrasekhar reacts to viral pic post-surgery

Seasoned actor-filmmaker SA Chandrasekhar has reacted to a viral picture of himself with his son Thalapathy Vijay. The image of SAC seated with Vijay and Shoba surfaced online and quickly gained widespread attention.

Sharing the picture on his X, formerly Twitter, SAC, wrote, "Relationship and affection are the elixir of the human mind."

In the picture, Vijay can be seen wearing a slight smile, seemingly touched by the presence of his parents. Reports suggest that Vijay visited his parents' home shortly after returning from abroad, as SAC had recently undergone significant surgery.

Although there is no specific information available about the nature of SAC's surgery, the radiant expression on his face in the viral picture suggests that the medical procedure was successful, and he is on the path to full recovery.

Vijay's complicated relationship with SAC

The significance of the photo lies in Vijay's history of strained relations with his parents. A few years ago, Chandrasekhar launched a political outfit in Vijay's name, only for it to be revealed later that the endeavour didn't have Vijay's approval.

At that time, Vijay issued a statement disavowing any connection with the party started by his father and even initiated legal action against his parents for using his name for political purposes. These developments had complicated relationships between the father and son duo and had become fodder for gossip columns.

Vijay is set to launch his own political party

However, Vijay is on the verge of taking the plunge into active politics. Even though he has not made a public announcement in this regard, Vijay is working behind the scenes to strengthen his fan clubs to fight upcoming elections. It's only a matter of time before Vijay makes his political plans public.

Vijay is now waiting for the release of Leo. Written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Leo is one of the most-awaited movies of 2023. The movie is now in the post-production phase and is set to hit the screens on October 19. 

Besides Vijay, Leo also stars Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Trisha and Gautham Menon among others.
