The 214-released action thriller which marked Thalapathy Vijay’s first collaboration with director AR Murugadoss, featured the popular actor in a double role as Kathiresan aka Kathir, and Jeevanandam. Kathir takes up the place of Jeeva, a Communist ideologue and fights against the factories that take away the villagers’ only irrigation source.
