Thalapathy Vijay-Trisha's Ghilli has tentative re-release date

Fans of Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay are in for a treat as the iconic film Ghilli, a milestone in the history of Tamil commercial films, is set to grace the big screens once again after two decades . The highly anticipated re-release is scheduled for April 17, coinciding with the film's original premiere in 2004. However, an official confirmation is still awaited.

Digital upgrade for Ghilli

Producer AM Rathnam recently confirmed this exciting development, unveiling plans to digitally enhance the movie to cater to a new generation of viewers. He also revealed the orginal plan was it to re-release the movie last year to coincide with Vijay's birthday. However, that didn't materialize due to other commitments. Rathnam expressed confidence that this year would witness the grand return of the digitized version of Ghilli to screens worldwide.
