Thalapathy Vijay, Shah Rukh Khan to share screen space: Jawan stunt director confirmed it. Or did he?

A recent interview with Jawan stunt director Yannick Ben has ignited a wave of excitement among fans of Thalapathy Vijay and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Speculations have been rife for months about the possibility of Vijay making a cameo appearance in SRK's upcoming movie Jawan, directed by Atlee, a self-proclaimed die-hard fan of Thalapathy Vijay.  

When Jawan prevue was released , fans examined it frame-by-frame seeking hints of Vijay's involvement.

And Yannick's latest comments have only added to the growing speculations. "You will see Vijay sir and SRK sir in the same scene," Yannick said during an interview with SS Music, leaving the interviewer in a state of shock. 

And soon Yannick's comments went viral, much to the joy of the fans of Vijay and SRK. However, there is also a lot of ambiguity in his comments. There is a strong possibility that Yannick was referring to Vijay Sethupathi and not Thalapathy Vijay. As everyone knows that Vijay Sethupathi is playing the main antagonist in the movie and Yannick wanted to hint there was a big action sequence involving SRK and Vijay (Sethupathi). 

When Yannick realizes the confusion, he tries to correct clarify that he was not talking about Thalapathy Vijay but Vijay Sethupathi. However, the interviewer was convinced that Yannick had unintentionally revealed Thalapathy Vijay's surprise cameo and was now trying to manage the situation.

Yannick revealed that the filmmakers have roped in five stunt choreographers, who are handling different segments of action in the movie. He was hired to compose stunt two sequences, a prison fight and action that unfolds at a railway station. 

Jawan is director Atlee's debut in Hindi. However, it will also be released in Tamil and Telugu. Besides Shah Rukh Khan and Sethupathi, the movie also stars Nayanthara and Sanya Malhotra among others. 

Jawan is due in cinemas on September 7.
