Thalapathy 69 update: Thalapathy Vijay, Anirudh Ravichander reunite for a peppy number?

Thalapathy Vijay is joining hands with director H Vinoth for his 69th film, which has been tentatively titled Thalapathy 69. The movie, which marks Vijay’s final outing before his indefinite break from films, had its grand launch and character reveal, a few days back. The shooting of Thalapathy 69 has been kickstarted in Chennai, and the team is now filming a grand song sequence. Thalapathy Vijay is reuniting with musician Anirudh Ravichander as a playback singer, for the peppy number.

Vijay and Anirudh reunite for Thalapathy 69 song?

If the recent updates are to be believed, Thalapathy Vijay has turned a playback singer yet again for a peppy number in Thalapathy 69. The popular star is reuniting with celebrated music composer Anirudh Ravichander yet again for the song, as a playback singer. The song, which is reportedly named ‘One Last Song’, is reportedly penned by Asal Kolaar. The grapevine suggests that director H Vinoth and his team are filming the song on a grand scale, with around 500 dancers.

Along with leading man Thalapathy Vijay, Pooja Hegde, who plays the female lead in the untitled entertainer, is also a part of the ongoing song shoot. The makers are reportedly planning to shoot the visually stunning song sequence in a schedule that is expected to last for more than a week. After wrapping up the song shoot, director H Vinoth and his team are reportedly planning to take a break, before resuming the second schedule of the film.

The H Vinoth directorial features Thalapathy Vijay as the protagonist, and the popular Bollywood star Bobby Deol as the lead antagonist. Pooja Hegde is appearing as the female lead in the film, which features a stellar star cast including Premalu actress Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Priya Mani, and Narain in the pivotal roles. Sathyan Sooryan is the director of photography. Anirudh Ravichander composes the music score. Thalapathy 69 is produced by KVN Productions.
