Thalapathy 67: Vijay, Lokesh Kanagaraj and team head to Kashmir for a crucial schedule, leaving fans ecstatic

The much-awaited update on Vijay, Lokesh Kanagaraj's Thalapathy 67 (tentative title) was unveiled yesterday by Seven Screen Studio which is bankrolling the movie. They informed that the film's shooting commenced on January 2 and revealed the technicians working on the project.

The makers were busy with a few sequences which were shot in Coimbatore recently. It is known that the team was planning to head to Kashmir for a significant schedule which lasts for a month. The crew members, including actors, have flown down to Kashmir today morning. The names of the members who traveled in a flight from Chennai have been leaked and are doing the rounds on social media.

Interestingly, Trisha and Priya Anand's names have also surfaced, thus confirming their presence in the film which is said to hit the screens in October or November this year.

Anirudh will be composing music for the movie which has Philomin Raj and Manoj Paramahamsa being roped in to handle editing and cinematography respectively. Anbariv and Dinesh will be choreographing action episodes and dance sequences respectively. Rathna Kumar and Deera Vaidy are in charge of dialogues for the project along with Lokesh.

Thalapathy 67 marks the second collaboration of Lokesh and Vijay after Master, while Anirudh is teaming up with Vijay for the fourth time after Kaththi, Master and Beast. Movie buffs are eagerly waiting to know if the film would be a spin off of Vikram and Kaithi which Lokesh helmed previously.

The digital rights of the movie were bagged by Netflix recently for a whopping price. According to sources, the rights have been sold for a record price in the history of Kollywood.
