Thalapathy 66: Vijay’s upcoming movie will feature him in a never-seen-before avatar

Fans were unable to contain their excitement when the update on Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming movie was released a month before. The latest update gives us a brief insight of his character in Thalapathy 66. According to an Etimes report, he is expected to portray a man who is an erotomaniac.

This will be a never-seen-before avatar of Thalapathy Vijay. He plays the role of a man who suffers from a rare mental disease. Erotomania occurs in a person who thinks that someone is in love with them but that isn’t the case in reality. In this case, the person suffering with this disease will think that they are in a relationship with someone, where they will refuse to accept otherwise.

This is not the first time where Vijay dipped his feet in the waters of mental complications. His earlier movie, Azhagiya Tamizh Magan, saw him suffering from a mental condition called Extrasensory Perception. Also called sixth sense, he was able to foresee the future before it even took place. If reports are to be true, then Thalapathy 66 will feature him in an exceptional avatar.

Vijay has also been experimenting with his roles in movies recently. Movies like Bigil and Master saw him as a football coach and college professor. It portrays him as something other than a typical massy character in commercial films. Thalapathy 66 also appears to be doing the same for him. Here, we are likely to see him in a cool rom-com movie with a different take.
