Thalaivar 171: After Leo, Lokesh Kanagaraj likely to direct Rajinikanth before Suriya

The latest buzz is that director Lokesh Kanagaraj is set to direct Superstar Rajinikanth after completing his ongoing movie Leo. It's said that Lokesh was earlier set to direct Rajinikanth in a film for Raaj Kamal Films International, which is owned by Kamal Haasan. However, the project didn't materialize at the time. 

But now, it seems that Lokesh is finally going to get his chance. He and Rajinikanth are expected to meet in the coming weeks to finalize the details of their collaboration. The news has sent shockwaves through the industry, with fans of both director and actor eagerly anticipating what could be their magnum opus.

Despite the excitement, Lokesh has his hands full with multiple projects already in the pipeline. Earlier, Lokesh revealed that he will work with Suriya soon . Rumours suggested that the film could be a standalone feature on Rolex, the drug kingpin introduced in Vikram's climax. However, if the rumours about Lokesh's film with Rajinikanth are true, then the fans will have to wait a little longer to see Rolex back on the screen.
