Test OTT release: R Madhavan is a struggling scientist in this film co-starring Siddharth, Nayanthara

After the makers of upcoming film Test unveiled the character teasers of Siddharth and Nayanthara, they took to reveal Saravanan, played by R Madhavan. He plays a gifted yet struggling scientist in the film.

Test: Madhavan as struggling scientist is introduced

Madhavan’s character Saravanan, from the world of Test has been unveiled. A gifted yet struggling scientist, his unyielding ambition pushes him to the edge, where every breakthrough feels just out of reach. Test is directed by S Sashikanth and is set to premiere on Netflix on April 4.

Actor Suriya, a dear friend and co-actor of R Madhavan in Aayutha Ezhuthu, unveiled the character promo video of Saravanan offering a sneak peak into this gripping story of Test.

The teaser shows Saravanan fighting to turn his vision into reality, as he is forced to confront the sacrifices his ambition demands. With the weight of expectation and the battle against time, his journey is as thrilling as it is heartbreaking—a story of perseverance, passion, and the price of brilliance.

R. Madhavan shares, "Saravanan is a man whose brilliance is both his strength and his burden. His journey is one of ambition, sacrifice, and the relentless pursuit of a dream that comes at a cost. Playing him made me reflect on how far one can go in the name of passion."

Test OTT release:

Written and directed by S Sashikanth in his directorial debut, Test will be first of the Tamil Netflix originals to stream this year. Ramachandra and S. Sashikanth are backing the film under YNOT Studios.

The key cast members are R. Madhavan, Nayanthara, Siddharth, Meera Jasmine among others. The film will premiere on April 4. Test is a cricket-based drama, in which Siddharth will play Arjun, a seasoned batsman who is out of form and struggling to make his comeback. Nayanthara plays Kumudha, a school teacher and Madhavan’s partner who years to have a child.
