Filmmakers Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah's movie Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya opened to mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike. The movie, based on a human-robot romance, featured Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles. While it was off to a slow start at the box office, TBMAUJ witnessed a jump in its domestic box office collection. In fact, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya's worldwide box office collection also saw an upward trend on day two.

The makers of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya shared the official worldwide box office figures of the film on Instagram. According to the IG page of Maddock Films, TBMAUJ minted Rs 20.02 crore. The film saw a growth of Rs 6 crore as compared to its day one global box office collection.

For those who are unaware, Shahid Kapoor plays the role of Aryan, who is a robotics engineer. He falls in love with a robot, SIFRA, essayed by Kriti Sanon. The storyline of the film revolves around their love story. Apart from Shahid and Kriti, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya stars veteran actors Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia in pivotal roles.

Janhvi Kapoor's cameo in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya

Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor made a special appearance in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. Buzz is that she might be a part of TBMAUJ's part two. However, an official confirmation on the same is awaited. It is being reported that there could be a love triangle between Shahid, Kriti, and Janhvi's characters in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya's sequel.

On the work front, Shahid Kapoor will be seen in Deva with Pooja Hedge. He will be seen playing the role of a tough cop in the film. As far as Kriti is concerned, she is now looking forward to the release of her movie, The Crew. In the Rajesh Krishnan, she has shared screen space with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu. It is set to release on March 29, 2024.
