On February 9, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, the month's first big release, will hit theatres. The love story, which stars Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, has been making waves because of its innovative plot, lively atmosphere, and catchy tunes. The filmmakers met all deadlines for censorship, but the film seems to have lost a love scene in the process.
Censorship and modifications
As per reports in Bollywood Hungama, the CBFC has reduced the scene of sex acts by 25%, according to the cut list. The cut list shows a reduction of nine seconds from the original sequence. That is to say, the intimate scene that was originally 36 seconds long is now only 27 seconds long.
The film's audio of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya has been modified for a scene. 'Drink' has taken the place of 'Daru' in the film's second half. The Examining Committee requested the producers to enlarge and make the anti-smoking static message more visible in Hindi.
CBFC approval and certification
After making these revisions, the CBFC approved the Valentine's Week release with a U/A certificate on February 2. According to the censor certificate, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya has a running time of 143.15 minutes. That is to say, the musical romance film clocks in at 2 hours, 23 minutes, and 15 seconds.
Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya features an ensemble cast that includes Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Dimple Kapadia, Dharmendra, Rakesh Bedi, and Rajesh Kumar. The film's directors, Aradhana Sah and Amit Joshi, are making their directorial debuts. Producing it are Maddock Films' Dinesh Vijan, Jio Studios' Jyoti Deshpande, and Laxman Utekar.
The plot revolves around a young, dashing guy who develops feelings for a lovely, clever woman—a humanoid android robot, it turns out. The film marks the first appearance of Shahid and Kiara together on the big screen.
