Who was the original choice for Kabir Singh?
In the video, Sandeep reveals that Shahid was not the original choice for Kabir Singh. The director had previously picked Ranveer Singh. He believed that the Bollywood actor would have done justice to the Hindi version of Vijay Deverakonda’s Arjun Reddy.
Kiara Advani not the first choice either
Kiara was not the first choice for the role either. Sandeep said that he would have liked ‘the Aashiqui 2 actress’ for the role. It is assumed that the filmmaker was talking about Shraddha Kapoor. While Shraddha might have also worked for the project, people found an iconic jodi in Shahid and Kiara and Kabir Singh fans wouldn’t want to replace a thing today.
