Tentulpata: Gourab Chatterjee and Ritobrata to present a rom-com family drama

After Gaatchora, Gourab Chatterjee is all set to be back on television with a new serial Tentulpata on Star Jalsha. The teaser was dropped a few days back but it did not explain why. Now the trailer was released recently and that has the answers. 

The in-law house of Gourab Chatterjee’s elder sister is named Tentulpata where many people live together. While coming to the place, Gourab meets Ritobrota who plays the character of Jhilli Choudhury. She is a runaway bride who doesn’t want to marry the boy chosen by her father. She is seemingly a lively girl who wants to marry according to her wishes. On the other hand, Gourab is a tight-lipped person for some unknown reasons. 

Three kids run away from the Tentulpata House at the same time. People start looking for them. At that time, Gourab meets her sister’s in-laws at the station. They call him ‘Kangsa Mama’. Then Jhilli comes to the scene. What happens then? How is their relationship born? The serial will answer these. Trentulpata will stream in Disney+ Hotstar. 

Debnath Chatterjee and Anindita Roychoudhury are also in the serial. But the slot is not yet known.

Netizens seemed interested in the trailer. Some of them found similarities with Imtiaz Ali’s iconic film Jab We Met. Some people claimed that the trailer has some common points with the film Jay Jayanti. Meanwhile, some of the netizens asked to put the serial at the 9.30 pm slot.
