Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja, who has been busy promoting his upcoming film Eagle, recently opened up about the theme of his upcoming flick. The actor recently joined Varun Tej in promoting their upcoming movies Eagle and Operation Valentine together and sat for a candid conversation about the films and to share other insightful anecdotes. While talking about Eagle, Ravi Teja said that Eagle is a dark comedy rather than an actioner. “Eagle is not an out-and-out action film. It's a proper commercial film with loads of dark comedy. Not just me, but the supporting roles have also made it an entertaining film,” the Telugu star said.

More about Ravi Teja’s Eagle

Although touted to be a commercial film, the trailer of the Ravi Teja-starrer promises a daring yet intriguing action thriller with the Mass Maharaja coming off as a ‘killing machine’ in this actioner. The trailer showcases himself as a ruthless assassin, while a young woman (played by Anupama Parameswaran) wants to know the truth about this man. His story has a connection to cotton farming and he is chased by many – who is he after all and what his motives are form the crux of the story. Interestingly, other characters give vague descriptions of his character, who is worshipped by many.

Sporting long hair and beard in the film, Ravi Teja appears to be playing an aged character. Actors Navdeep, Srinivas Avasarala, Madhoo play pivotal roles in this action thriller. Karthik Gattamneni has directed and edited the film along with handling the camera work of the movie. He also penned the screenplay of the film.
