Telugu OTT platform aha announces YouTube star Shanmukh Jaswanth's web show Agent Anand Santosh; here's the first look

Shanmukh Jaswanth, who shot to fame with his music, dance videos, short films and Youtube mini-series, is getting ready for his OTT debut. Telugu OTT platform aha has commissioned a new detective-comedy series Agent Anand Santosh a.k.a AAS to be headlined by Shanmukh. Arun Pawar will helm the web series written by K Subbu. The muhurat ceremony of the project was held in Hyderabad a week ago. Today, the streaming platform launched the first look of AAS.

While sharing the first look, aha brought in references of other popular detective comedies, Chiranjeevi's Chantabbai and Naveen Polishetty's Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya. "Chantabbayi ki varasudu, Athreya ki thammudu. Parihasam lo kaani, parishkaram lo kaani, ekkada thaggede le. Agent Anand Santosh Coming Soon!#AASFirstLook #AASOnAHA," they wrote. Shanmukh looks dapper in the first look while holding a suitcase that reads 'case closed' in the middle of a crime scene. 

Vaishali Raj plays the female lead in Agent Anand Santosh. Prithvi Jhakaas, a regular collaborator and a good friend of Shanmukh Jaswanth, is also part of the team. aha is producing the show in collaboration with Infinitum Media (with whom they've constantly associated for Youtube-based content earlier). Shanmukh was recently in the news for his participation in Bigg Boss Telugu.

Meanwhile, aha, whose latest horror thriller show Anya's Tutorial opened to positive responses, is also coming up with a dance-themed reality show with Ohmkar titled Dance Ikon. The platform will also release the Telugu version of Shiva Rajkumar's Jai Bhajrangi on July 8.
