Telisinavaallu: Ram Karthik, Hebah Patel’s thriller gears up for a November release

Hebah Patel, who was in the news recently for her thriller Geetha and the aha original Odela Railway Station, will have another release before she signs off for the calendar year. Her next film is the occult thriller Telisinavaallu, where she’s paired alongside Ram Karthik. The film, written, directed and produced by Viplove Koneti, is set for a release in November, the makers have announced.

The film hogged the limelight for its riveting teaser, whose premise about an entire family committing suicide to bring back a dead patriarch to life again, piqued the curiosity of movie lovers. Veteran actor Naresh, Pavithra Lokesh, Jayaprakash form the supporting the cast of the thriller which has music by Major, DJ Tillu fame Sri Charan Pakala.

The makers say that the teaser has created good buzz about Telisinavaallu in industry circles, with appreciatory calls from several celebrities and producers. The first single, Sasivadane, also captured music lovers' imagination. Telisinavaallu’s shoot and post-production formalities have already been wrapped up and the team is awaiting clearance from the censor board.

Plans are on to host a grand pre-release event for the film. The promotional campaign for Telisinavaallu is expected to commence either in the last week of October or the first half of November. KSV is the presenter of the film which has cinematography by Ajay V Nag and Anant Nag Kavuri. Dharmendra Kakarala and Zhivago are the editor and the lyricist respectively.

The crew also comprises art director Upendra Reddy, choreographer Javed (master), stunt director CH Ramakrishna and co-director Kotigalla Subbarao, to name a few. The film’s male lead Ram Karthik, has earlier starred in the web show Geetha Subramanyam 2020 (for aha) and Ram Asur, currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
