Tejasswi Prakash on life post Bigg Boss 15: 'I want to do more challenging roles, projects that bring out the best in me'

Television industry's current sweetheart Tejasswi Prakash is on the moon, basking in the popularity of her TV show Naagin 6, right after winning the reality show Bigg Boss 15. The actress has not not only been making the headlines for her relationship with fellow BB15 contestant Karan Kundrra but also for her career high with Naagin 6 and BB15 win. 

Getting candid about life post Bigg Boss 15, Tejasswi said in a statement that the current phase of her career is great but she feels that she still has a long way to go. She shared that she has a huge list of goals that she wants to achieve in her professional life first. "I want to do more and more challenging roles, projects that really bring out the best in me. And I am glad that I have so many supporters in my life, who push me to do better every single day, " the Naagin 6 actress was quoted as saying in her statement. 

Further, Tejasswi said that a lot of people ask her about how she feels and while one may not believe it, but all the love and success hasn't sunk in yet. Her Bigg Boss 15 stint happened post the pandemic and now she's working in Naagin 6. "So if you ask me how does all this feel, I'll say it feels surreal," she added. 

Tejasswi is currently winning hearts with her portrayal of Pratha in Naagin 6 on TV. Talking about the praise she has been receiving for the same, Tejasswi shared, "I believe that Naagin has been the most loved and watched fantasy franchise in India" and that she feels it's a great privilege for her professionally, to be able to join the incredible league of the other actresses who have earlier headlined the series. "It also is a dream come true. I really hope that I am doing a good job and that I am justifying my part, my character," she stated.

Having done TV shows like Sanskaar - Dharohar Apnon Ki, Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya and Swaragini among others, Tejasswi was already a popular actress before she entered the Bigg Boss house. But she became a household name across the nation after her BB15 stint. The actress mentioned that she feels extremely grateful for all the love and support that she has received from her fans. She said that she has always had a very loyal fan base even from her pre-BB15 days and it has grown immensely after the end of the reality show. 

Further, Tejasswi added that she couldn't believe what she witnessed in terms of the the number of fan clubs when she came out of the Bigg Boss house. She concluded by saying that a huge part of the credit for her BB15 win goes to her fans as they've been very supportive of her.
