Team Rudhran, which has Lawrence in the lead, unveils a poster featuring a stylish Sarath Kumar

There has been speculation regarding whether Raghava Lawrence's Rudhran would release in April 2022. Producer Kathiresan of Five Star Creations makes his directorial debut with the movie which has Priya Bhavani Shankar playing the female lead. The team has now released a new poster featuring Sarath Kumar.

The senior actor, sporting a stylish black suit and a goggles, is seen walking casually; a couple of Rolls-Royce cars are spotted in the background. GV Prakash composes music for the project which has editing by Anthony and cinematography by RD Rajasekar. Poornima Bhagyaraj and Kaali Venkat will also be seen playing key roles in the movie.

The title and first look of Rudhran were revealed by Lawrence more than a year ago on his birthday. Stunt Silva has choreographed the film's action sequences while KP Thirumaaran has written the story. The project was in the news last time when it was announced that remix version of Paadatha Paattellam Pada Vanthal will be included in it.

The remix of the iconic song from Veera Thirumagan, released in 1962, will have Lawrence and Priya shaking a leg. The peppy song was choreographed by Sridhar a while ago. 

It was heard that the makers had spent one crore to erect a set for the shooting of the remix song. A picture of Sridhar and Lawrence from the shooting spot did the rounds on social media a couple of months ago. 

Later, the team had released a still featuring Lawrence and Priya along with director Kathiresan and cinematographer Rajasekar fro the location. A few years ago, the popular song Aadaludan Paadalai Kettu from Kudiyirundha Koyil had a remix version in Lawrence's Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva.
