Team Pushpa surprises fans with an update; here's when the sequel to the Allu Arjun-starrer will be launched

The much-expected update for Allu Arjun fans is here! Pushpa 2 is currently the most-expected sequel in the country, thanks to its gargantuan success in all territories in India. Despite many speculations doing the rounds, makers have now announced that the film will be launched with an official ceremony tomorrow.

The official Twitter page of Pushpa posted, #PushpaRaj is back! This time to Rule. #PushpaTheRule Pooja Ceremony tomorrow. India's most anticipated sequel is going to be BIGGER (sic)." Needless to say, fans of Allu Arjun and other movie buffs can't wait to know when Pushpa 2 aka Pushpa: The Rise will go on floors.

Vijay Sethupathi is said to be playing a significant character in the sequel, though an official update on the same is awaited. The versatile actor was approached for Pushpa, but he couldn't make it because of other commitments.

Fans are curious to know what Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna among others who were seen essaying crucial roles in the first part will have to do this time around. The first part ends with the beginning of conflict between characters essayed by Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil.

One of the highlights of Pushpa 2 is expected to be the songs and background score from Devi Sri Prasad as the songs in Pushpa were instant chartbusters across the country. The film grossed more than 100 crores from its Hindi version alone, something which left Bollywood stunned.    

The movie's Tamil and Malayalam versions, too, performed well and went on to become Allu Arjun's highest grosser. Pushpa collected more than 300 crores from across the globe. Film lovers are eagerly awaiting the release of its sequel and are curious to know if it would be another KGF 2 in the offing with regard to box office prospects.
