The promotions for Dev’s next film Bagha Jatin are at their peak. The superstar’s fans are eagerly waiting for the release of this Puja. People are interested to know about the shooting, too. How was the experience behind the camera? Some glimpses were released on social media. Dev’s production company shared some moments of the shooting in the Simlipal forest in Odisha.
The team crossed many hurdles while shooting. They lost all communication whenever they entered the dense forest. Dev said, “There was no network in the forest. We came here every day by 7 or 7.30 am and returned in the evening.”
The costume had a special role in portraying Dev as Bagha Jatin. The costume designer was also present in the forest. He also shared his experiences. A scene showing some people running with burning torches inside the jungle was shot here.
Directed by Arun Roy, the film will be released on October 19 in Bengali and on October 20 in Hindi. Along with Bagha Jatin, three more Bengali films – Srijit Mukherji’s Dawshom Awbotaar, Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy’s Raktabeej and Arindam Sil’s Jongole Mitin Mashi – will have their mega release this festive season.
