Tarla trailer: Huma Qureshi and Sharib Hashmi's OTT film delves into the life of iconic home chef Tarla Dalal

The official trailer of Tarla starring Huma Qureshi is finally out. Based on the life of famous chef Tarla Dalal, the upcoming biopic is set for an OTT release. Directed by Piyush Gupta, it also has Sharib Hashmi in a pivotal role.

The latest trailer begins by introducing Huma in the titular role of Tarla and showcasing her as an ordinary young woman, who is unclear about her future but aspires to become 'something' in life. The video begins by displaying that Huma and Sharib are getting hitched, while the former informs the latter about her uncooked ambitions to do big things. 

The trailer gives a glimpse of how Tarla carved her path in the field of food and discovered her inner chef by navigating her hands in a barrage of unique tastes and churning out irregular as well as new dishes out of a few boring recipes.

Makers dropped the latest trailer with a special caption on ZEE5's YouTube channel that reads, "Tarla, A ZEE5 Original Film Witness the tale of the iconic home chef Tarla Dalal, who redefined Indian-styled cooking and the won hearts of millions. Here's her journey to success, which truly tastes sweet. (sic)."

Meanwhile, Huma also shared the trailer video on her official Instagram handle with a quirky caption that reads, "It’s here !!! Life mein kuch karne ki khaas recipe aap bhi note kar lijiye! Trailer out now! (sic)."

Bankrolled by Ronnie Screwvala, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and Nitesh Tiwari, it also has Bharati Achrekar, Amarjeet Singh, Rajeev Pandey, Purnendu Bhattacharya and Veenah Naair in key roles.

Tarla is all set to be out on ZEE5 on July 7.
