Tara Sutaria breaks silence on rumours, linkups: There's much more Earth shattering news | Exclusive

For someone who has lived their life in the limelight, Tara Sutaria is now immune to it. The actor, who worked as a child artist for Disney, made her feature debut with Karan Johar's Student Of The Year 2. It's been five years in the business, and most recently, she was surrounded suddenly by rumors and speculations about a film and an alleged affair. The actor, in an exclusive conversation with OTTplay, now talks about the same. 

If you are unaware, Tara has had her fair share of rumours built around her. The most recent of them all was when she was spotted walking out of a restaurant with Kartik Aaryan . It was first speculated that there might be something cooking between the two, and later it was said that Sutaria is probably joining Kartik in Aashiqui 3. While the latter was clarified by Anurag Basu, the director of the film himself, that it is not true. The former was the talk of the town. 

Now, when Tara Sutaria sat down to talk about her latest release, Apurva with us, we spoke about her five years in showbiz and also asked whether the rumour caught her as off-guard as it caught us. Tara rather had a very calm and composed take on the situation, as she said she laughs about such things, but they also pinch sometimes.

In our exclusive interview, Tara Sutaria said, “My parents are really cool man. Like they come to my room every morning. Like I have been saying this for years, but they still do it. Like I am bored of it, but they are not bored of it. They will come to my room in the morning when I am sleeping or when I am chilling with, you know, the latest rumour or something like that. And we all just actually have a laugh; we will have a cup of tea and move on swiftly to a much more interesting discussion, that’s true.”

Tara added, “It’s fun sometimes to read these things. I have a laugh about it; if it comes in the way of work, or comes in the way of something that is meaningful to me, then it is a little bit upsetting. But honestly, there is much more Earth-shattering news than rumours and linkups. It’s a part and parcel of this thing, and I have learned to accept it.”
