Child actor-turned-lead Tanish is embarking on an ambitious project named after popular Telugu poet Sri Sri's literary work, Maro Prasthanam. The film is no way connected to Sri Sri or his book, but is special for reasons more than one. Jhony has helmed the actioner in which Musskan Sethi, Bhanusree Mehra, Kabir Duhan Singh and Raja Ravindra play key roles as well. Mirth Media has produced the film that is headed for a theatrical release soon. Himalaya Studio Mansions and Uday Kiran have presented the film. Maro Prasthanam's teaser was released nearly a year ago.
There are many highlights about Maro Prasthanam. The film's plot, just like the run time, unfolds over a two-hour span. Moreover, this is a single shot film with a linear screenplay sans any cuts, jerks or rewind shots. The makers call the film an emotional journey of a killer and promise a unique premise, riveting screenplay that would engage audiences. "Maro Prasthanam will leave a lump in your throat. We are quite confident of the film's success. Plot-driven films have done well in Telugu cinema lately and we'sure that our film too would be an addition to that list,"they add.
Maro Prasthanam's release date will be announced shortly. Vasantha Kiran and Yanala Siva have written the dialogues for the film, which has lyrics by Pranavam. Suneel Kashyap is on board as the film's composer. Cinematographer M N Balreddy, editor Kranthi, action choreographer Shiva and dance choregrapher Kapil are part of the film's crew. Tanish's last theatrical release was Rangu in 2018, the same year where he was part of the first season of the reality show, Bigg Boss Telugu.
