Tamil actor Arulnithi to play an investigation officer in the thriller Deja Vu

Tamil actor Arulnithi Tamilarasu will be donning the role of an investigation officer in his upcoming film titled Deja Vu, which marks the directorial debut of Arvindh Srinivasan.

The debutant filmmaker has said that the film will not be an usual thriller, and that it features several plot twists. In fact, he said, the off-beat script was what tempted lead actor Arulnithi to take up the role in the first place. The first look poster of the film was released online recently.

The poster shows a photo of Arulnithi’s character on a page attached to a clipboard. A gun and a pen with blood spatter on it lie to its sides.

In addition to the Vamsam actor, the film also features Madhoo, Achyuth Kumar, Smruthi Venkat, Mime Gopi, Chetan and Kali Venkat.

The film does not feature any full-length songs, although composer Ghibran has been brought in to compose the background score of the movie. Deja Vu, which has been shot entirely in Chennai, is almost said to have completed its filming. The cinematography is handled by PG Muthiah.

Deja Vu is also being made in Telugu. Naveen Chandra stars in the Telugu version of the film. The film is produced by White Carpet Films and PG Media Works.
