Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have been one of the most loved onscreen Bollywood couples ever. They both debuted in the year 2007 and completed 15 years in Bollywood on November 9, 2022.

Deepika begin her acting career with the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Om Shanti Om, while Ranbir debuted in acting with Saawariya, which also stars Salman Khan and marks the Bollywood debut of Sonam Kapoor.

However, Deepika and Ranbir came together for the first time in the 2008 film Bachna Ae Haseeno and stole the heart of movie buffs with their dreamy chemistry. Meanwhile, the couple dated in real life as well during that time but soon parted ways. However, they still rocked the status of best onscreen jodi with their later projects together such as Tamasha.

Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali recently spoke about working with Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone even after their relationship ended.

According to newstracklive.com Imtiaz shared, " “Before Tamasha, all three of us were really keen to work with each other. They were not even bothered about explaining it to the world, they just wanted to work with each other because they love working with each other- regardless of their status, regardless of what the past has been, regardless of what the present is or so on and so forth. They are very committed and pure.”

Reportedly, the actors will soon be seen together as the OTT version of Ayan Mukerji's magnum opus Brahmastra confirms Deepika as Ranbir Kapoor's mother in the film.
