She was recently seen in the much-awaited film ‘Jailer, that stars the eternal superstar Rajinikanth.
Today, the actress Tamannaah Bhatia took to social media and posted the trailer of her extremely hard-hitting show ‘Aakhri Sach’ that will be streamed on the leading OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar. The actress captioned the post stating, “A bone chilling tale that unravels the most twisted ties of fate, trapped secrets of a family and terrifying horrors an investigator has ever seen. Watch #HotstarSpecials #AakhriSach from 25th August. #AakhriSachOnHotstar”. Besides Tamannaah Bhatia, the series also stars Abhishek Banerjee, Shivin Narang, Danish Iqbal, Nishu Dikshit, Kriti Vij and Sanjeev Chopra in prominent roles. For the uninitiated, the Tamannaah Bhatia starrer ‘Aakhri Sach’ is based on the spine-chilling Burari deaths that had rocked the entire world.
In a media statement, Tamannaah Bhatia, who plays the role of lead investigation officer in ‘Aakhri Sach’ said, “When ‘Aakhri Sach’ came to me, it was a story that immediately shook my very core. This character is very special to me - firstly because it’s the first time ever I am playing a police officer in a long format and secondly, the emotional vulnerability of Anya that Aakhri Sach displays is like none other. Playing this sharp and fierce cop, really pushed me to embrace all the discomfort and perceptions that came with it and overcome them. I am glad to be a part of this story and take this to the world with Disney+ Hotstar!”
Abhishek Banerjee, who is playing the role of Bhuvan in the series said in a media statement, "Aakhri Sach delves into the darkest corners of the human mind.
