Tamannaah Bhatia has expressed her desire to play Sridevi on-screen. The statement comes days after Khushi Kapoor admitted that she will not do justice to her mother's biopic in 100 years, only to soon after be cast in the sequel of MOM. The movie was Sridevi's last film and of course, the role was extremely impactful. Meanwhile, Tamannaah feels confident that she might be able to portray Sridevi well on-screen.

Tamannaah Bhatia wishes to play Sridevi on screen. She confirmed the same by telling IANS, "It would be Sridevi, ma’am. I think she was super iconic, and she’s somebody I always admired."
Khushi Kapoor agrees she could not be Sridevi in 100 years
Khushi Kapoor, in a recent interview, was asked about a biopic on her mother. To that, she had clarified that even though she and Janhvi love her, they could not be Sridevi in 100 years.
Boney Kapoor hopes to cast Khushi Kapoor in MOM sequel
More recently, Boney Kapoor had stated out loud that he is thinking about MOM sequel. The filmmaker wishes to cast Khushi for the role, since he is the biggest fan of her daughter. He confirmed so after Khushi's film Loveyapa had released in theatres. Her movies now include The Archies, Loveyapa and the recently released Nadaaniyan. While Loveyapa marked the debut of Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan, Nadaaniyan was Ibrahim Ali Khan's Bollywood debut film.
