Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s on screen pairing is something which viewers have come to love over the years. The duo, who have more than three decades of experience in the industry each, are all set to share the screen space yet again in Bholaa. But this time, Ajay will take over the reins of director as well, directing his frequent co-star Tabu for the first ever time. The second teaser of the upcoming film was launched at an event in Mumbai recently, where Tabu spoke of the experience of being directed by Ajay.

Tabu said “The best thing about working with him as a director is that he is so technically sound. He has so much understanding, knowledge, experience and a skill for being technically competent. And he’s clear; he knows exactly what is to be done, and he knows what is unnecessary.

That's a very very big aspect and quality of being a filmmaker, and any professional. You do away with the unnecessary stuff, so that everybody’s energy is only concentrated on the stuff that is actually required. So he will not overshoot, he will not make you do overdo things”.

Over the course of their careers, Tabu and Ajay have worked together in over 10 projects. So naturally the question arises in fans’ minds that Ajay might be partial towards Tabu when they shot together. Well, the veteran actress quickly set the record straight, saying that far from over pampering her, Ajay did not even smile at her when they were shooting. Ajay could not resist pulling her leg and remarked “She is always pampered”. The duo shared a delightful moment just then, with Tabu giving Ajay a peck on the cheek.

Bholaa, which will feature Amala Paul and Abhishek Bachchan in special appearances, will hit the big screens on March 30, 2023.
