Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah finally showcased a track about Popatlal's engagement. After years of search, the patrakar met the girl of his dreams, Madhubala. As their kundlis matched, Madhubala readily agreed to marry Popatlal. Before the wedding day, Popatlal and Madhubala's engagement ceremony was held. Last week's TMKOC episode revolved around the same. However, Popatlal went missing from his engagement ceremony and left everyone shocked.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah makers shared a weekly recap of all episodes that streamed last week on SonyLIV and OTTplay Premium. Gokuldham Society members got all decked up for Popatlal and Madhubala's engagement ceremony. When they reached the venue, Popatlal went missing from his engagement.
Following this, Inspector Pandey took an extreme step by getting the society members tied up. He instructed his team to take them to the police station. But Popatlal reached just in time at the venue. Much to everyone's shock, he decided to call off his engagement with Madhubala. When everyone asked him the reason, Dr Hathi declared that he suggested Popatlal to call it off.
For the uninitiated, Dr Hathi revealed that Madhubala has a medical condition, which could pass on to her children. Unfortunately, Popatlal has the same medical condition. If Popatal gets married to Madhubala, the child that the couple will conceive in the future might have lower red blood cells and it could prove to be fatal. This is the reason Dr Hathi suggested to Popatlal that he shouldn't marry his ladylove.
While it is known that Popatlal has called off his engagement, it remains to be seen what Madhubala and her family do next. Produced by Asit Kumarr Modi, Taarak Mehta Ka Oolath Chashmah also airs on Sony Sab.
