Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Goli fame Kush Shah announces his exit, introduces new Goli - Check out

There are only a few shows in the history of Indian television that have enjoyed popularity and run like Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has. The show, which has been running for the past 16 years, has now become a phenomenon on its own. However, over the years, many actors have quit and been replaced by new faces. It turns out we are about to see one such replacement yet again, as an actor has quit the show, and the makers have even confirmed that they have found a replacement. Kush Shah, who plays Goli aka Gulaab Kumar, has finally bid goodbye to the show and parted ways on a happy note. 

Kush Shah Announces His Exit

On their official YouTube channel, the makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah have shared a new video that has Kush announcing his departure from the show and introducing the new Goli. The video is set in Gokuldham, where we see Kush entering the society to announce his departure as he thanks everyone for the love and opportunity. Read on to know everything about the same.

In the video, Kush Shah enters Gokuldham on Bhide’s scooter for one last time as he announces his exit from the show. He recalls how he technically grew up on the sets of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and how this was his second home. “When this show started when you and I first met, I was very young. You have given me a lot of love since then. And this family has given me as much love as you have given me. I have made a lot of memories here. I have enjoyed a lot here,” he said.

Thanking the makers of the show, he added, “I have spent my childhood here, and most importantly, I want to thank the creator of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Asit Kumar Modi, for this journey. He trusted me so much, made my character so interesting, and always inspired me. Because of his trust, Kush became Goli today.”

The makers have already found a new Goli, and they have even shared his first look in the same video. They are yet to reveal his name, but he will be joining soon. Kush Shah worked on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah for 16 long years before his exit, which indeed is a long time.
