Jethalal is happy to have earned Rs. 40 thousand over a fridge that would otherwise sell for Rs. 2 thousand. The businessman in him is overjoyed, so much that he wishes to turn this profit-making into business. Thus, Jethalal has a plan to attract more customers. He is even willing to be generous and share more profits. Here’s what exactly went down in last night’s episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (available for streaming on SonyLIV via OTTplay Premium)…
Bagha is surprised to learn that Jethalal earned Rs. 40 thousand by selling Bhide's fridge, which was not even in a working condition. Natu kaka recalls how they would find the same company's fridge at Rs. 2 thousand otherwise. When Bagha points out the kind of profit they could make, Jethalal got excited at the thought itself. The trio broke into a dance over the same.
Jethalal wants Bagha and Natu kaka to spread the word that they wish to buy the very fridge under the range of Rs. 2 thousand. He asks them to reach out to bhangaar to inform them, and they would buy as many fridges as required.
Both Bagha and Natu kaka are dejected about not finding the fridge. Jethalal sails in the same boat, and thus, they change strategy. They now reach out through the help of social media.
Jethalal is adamant about finding more customers since he has received Rs. 2 lakhs advance payment for the fridge. His initial thought was reaching out through newspaper, but with Bagha's help, they ended up finalizing the social media approach.
Jethalal wishes to offer a new refrigerator. With that, they could get a profit of Rs. 18 thousand. Bagha ends up calling Jethalal 'Sultan,' thus getting him into the mood of Mughal era.
