Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah added intrigue when Popatlal refused to bond with anybody but a stranger who looked like a gangster. Furthermore, cops came in Gokuldham society inquiring about him. Before Popatlal, it looks like the cops were going to arrest Champak chacha. Or were they? Know the true story…
Chachaji vs Chaalu Pandey
Champak chacha notices there’s police in Gokuldham society, and wonders why are they there. Chaalu Pandey opens the door right when Bapuji passes by, thus pushing the latter to have a big fall. Despite Chaalu trying to help, Bapuji cannot get up from the ground. Assuming that chachaji has hurt his back, Chaalu asks Patil to pick him up from anywhere except the back. Just when Pandey and Patil pick up chachaji, Sodhi notices what is happening. She believes that Pandey is arresting chachaji forcefully. The speculation grows stronger when Pandey and Patil put chachaji inside the police van.
Sodhi asks for Bhide’s help
Sodhi decides she will take Bhide along and go in the society compound to try and save Chachaji from Pandey. Bhide enjoys his cup of tea provided by Madhavi, when she asks him to return the favour some day. Bhide says if he had the budget, he would build Taj Mahal for his partner. Madhavi went on to joke that Bhide would get her dead to build the Taj Mahal, which is when Bhide said Taj Mahal idea is cancelled. Instead, Madhavi strikes a deal for adrak wali chai. Just then, Sodhi comes and fills Bhide and Madhavi in on what just happened, but in a fun manner. Bhide instead gets happy to be proven right that he heard the siren which was indication of police in the society. Bhide further questions what has chachaji done, and Sodhi asks if she should ask and be back with the answer. That is when Madhavi finally states that they should be in the society compound already! Even then, Sodhi tries to go to the balcony, till Bhide stops her. He even locks her in, and without questioning it, she takes a seat in the Bhide house, which is when Bhide comes back apologizing profusely for his doing.
The real story
Pandey wants to take chachaji to the hospital. On hearing the commotion, more society members gather. This includes Babita, Komal and Anjali. At long last, Pandey clears the confusion. The society members confuse it for Pandey pushing chachaji with his hands. Finally, chachaji gets to stand on his own two legs.
Why is Chaalu Pandey in Gokuldham society?
Pandey is actually in the society to search for Popatlal, who is hiding something big from everyone. The suspense grows fourfold when Pandey reveals he wants to meet Popatlal face-to-face, and Popatlal is not at home, and plays mysterious with everyone.
