Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah just hasn’t been the same since Dayaben, played by Disha Vakani, left the show. She took a maternity leave six years go and ever since, the makers have not introduced another Dayaben. Finally the wait is over, for the popular character will make a comeback on the iconic TV show.

This happened during a recent promo released by the makers. They spilled when Dayaben will be back in Gokuldham society.

Jethalal, eager to know when Daya would return from Ahmedabad, persistently questioned Sundarlal, who tried to avoid answering the question. However, Sundar eventually disclosed Dayaben's return date on the program. He stated that she would make her comeback this Diwali. This news brought great joy, not only to Jethalal but also to all the residents of Gokuldham, who celebrated upon hearing the announcement in the episode.

For the uninitiated, Disha Vakani portrayed the character of Dayaben until 2017. Ever since, her fans and followers have anxiously awaited her comeback to the show.
