Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Gurucharan Singh Sodhi agrees to 'break his fast', close friend shares health update

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Gurucharan Singh Sodhi recently hit the headlines again. This time around, the TV actor informed his fans that he had been hospitalized and facing financial difficulties. During Sodhi's challenging times, the actor got support from his close friend Bhakti Soni. She managed to secure a deal of Rs 13 lakh for the TMKOC actor and helped him with an additional Rs 33 lakh. Bhakti also shared Gurucharan's health update.

In an interview with the Times of India, Gurucharan Singh Sodhi's friend Bhakti Soni shared an update about the actor's health and financial condition. "I have got Gurucharan Singh a brand deal of 13 lakh, which has been given to him. After that, he agreed to break his fast. He will be coming to Mumbai by the end of the month to shoot for the same. We really worked hard to get him this opportunity, and I am glad Gurucharan will be back to work soon," she shared.

Bhakti revealed she helped Sodhi with an additional Rs 33 lakh. However, she failed to understand that nobody else came forward to help him in his tough times. Soni also recalled receiving a call from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's publicist team. They checked on the actor's health but didn't offer any financial help.

Having said that, Bhakti believes Gurucharan Singh Sodhi currently needs work. "He does not need financial support, but work is what he needs the most. And I have managed to get him work," she added.

Gurucharan Singh Sodhi hospitalized

Earlier, in an interview, Bhakti had revealed that Gurucharan was rushed to the hospital after he fell unconscious. "He hasn’t eaten food or had water for 19 days. Because of that, he fell unconscious and was quickly rushed to the hospital," she shared.
