Taapsee Pannu's debut production Blurrr skips theatrical release, to premiere on Zee5

Taapsee Pannu has turned producer with Blurr, a suspenseful thriller about twin sisters that is an adaptation of the 2010 suspense thriller Julia's Eyes by Spanish director Guillem Morales.

Now the makers announced the direct-to-digital premiere of Taapsee Pannu's psychological thriller "Blurr" on ZEE5.

The movie is directed by Ajay Bahl, known for films like "BA Pass" and "Section 375," and also features Gulshan Devaiah. The movie "Blurr" is the first one that Pannu has produced under her Outsiders Films banner.

Pannu shared the news of the movie's premiere on Twitter. ''There's always more than what meets the eye! #BlurrOnZEE5 premieres 9th December,'' she captioned the motion poster of the upcoming film.

Producer and Actor - Taapsee Pannu said, "Thrillers form an important part of my filmography and Blurr was one such a script that kept me on the edge with its screenplay and the situations the protagonist was thrown into throughout the film. I hope the OTT audience is ready for some thrills and chills with this one.”

Blurr, a story about a woman and her hardships that she faces as she overcomes her tragedy, is written by Ajay Bahl and Pawan Sony. Gayatri, played by Taapsee Pannu, is slowly losing her vision as she attempts to look into the death of her twin sister in this aesthetically striking movie. You'll be gripped in unexpected ways by Taapsee Pannu's previously unseen persona and the stunning plot twists.
