Taapsee Pannu all set to produce a web series? Here’s what we know!

After having made Bollywood debut with the comic caper ‘Chashme Baddoor’, there had been no looking back for Taapsee Pannu. What followed after ‘Chashme Baddoor’ were films like ‘Baby’, Pink, The Ghazi Attack, Judwaa 2, Mission Mangal, Thappad and others… films that consolidated her position in Bollywood. After having proved her mettle as an actress, the feisty lady then ventured into production with her banner Outsider Films.

Just a few days back, Taapsee Pannu’s film ‘Dhak Dhak’ had got released. The film, which was about four women on a road trip, met with lukewarm success at the box office. Amidst all this, Taapsee Pannu was praised for her conviction. Even though the actress has not announced anything about her next venture, buzz is that she is presently working on the pre-production of a web series, as per a source-based news report in News18. The report stated that, whether Taapsee Pannu will be acting in it is not yet clear and that the script of the same has already been locked. And, as for the casting for the web series is concerned, it is reported to be in the nascent stages.

The same report stated that, besides the said web series, Taapsee has now yet another film in the offing, whose pre-production work was underway and that the announcements of both the ventures (the web series and the film) is expected to happen in the upcoming days. Besides all this, Taapsee Pannu has a big-ticket film release in the form of ‘Dunki’, which stars the eternal superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The film is being directed by the prolific film maker Rajkumar Hirani. In addition to that, Taapsee Pannu will also be seen in ‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba’, which happens to be a sequel to the earlier hit ‘Hasseen Dillruba’. The film is being directed by Jayprad Desai.
