Sushmita Sen wants Main Hoon Na 2 with Shah Rukh Khan, here’s what she said

Not too long ago, news about Farah Khan almost not picking Sushmita Sen for Main Hoon Na made the rounds. At such a time, one news is going viral. This news is about Sushmita Sen talking about Main Hoon Na sequel. The actress wants to work in the film with Shah Rukh Khan.

What did Sushmita say?

Sushmita was speaking to India Today about the sequel. The actress said she definitely thinks it is time for the sequel and they should go ahead with Main Hoon Na 2. When asked if they would start a petition for the same, the actress said that people did approach director Farah Khan, SRK as well as her for the sequel. Sushmita promptly asked everyone to go back to Farah.

The actress would sulk on Main Hoon Na sets

Sushmita further went on to reveal that she would sulk on Main Hoon Na sets. This is because she did not want to wear a saree, especially in front of SRK. Main Hoon Na was Sushmita’s first film with the superstar. Co-incidentally, Sushmita pulled off the saree so well that her looks are remembered till date.

The movie was helmed by Farah Khan and also starred Zayed Khan, Amrita Rao and Suniel Shetty in pivotal roles, apart from SRK and Sushmita. The 2004 release was declared a hit at the Box Office.

Sushmita currently seen in Taali

Sushmita Sen was giving interviews because of the release of her web series, Taali. On the show, she portrays the role of India’s transgender woman, Gauri Sawant. The show has been lauded by one-and-all.

Taali is Sushmita’s second work on OTT that is being noticed. The actress had made her acting comeback with the Disney+Hotstar web series Aarya. She plays the lead role of Aarya on the successful show. Aarya already has two seasons and a third one is reportedly in the making.
