Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister comes to Ankita Lokhande’s aid amid hate for talking about him on Bigg Boss 17, calls her ‘purest’

Sushant Singh Rajput holds a special place in many people’s heart and they have a different way of expressing it. One person who was once closest to his heart is his Pavitra Rishta co-star and once girlfriend Ankita Lokhande. She has been keeping Sushant alive by talking about him on Bigg Boss 17. While some like the act, others have called her out saying that she seeks sympathy. Sushant’s own sister Shweta Singh Kirti falls under the former category and has expressed her love for Ankita openly.

Sharing a reel of herself with Ankita and what transpired when Ankita’s mother came to the house, Shweta called Ankita the ‘purest.’ “We love you Anki! You are the best and the purest,” Shweta wrote as the caption to her Instagram story. She ended it with a red heart, depicting the love she has for the actress.

Karan Johar gave her a hug too

During the most recent Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Karan Johar, who had temporarily stepped in for Salman Khan as the host of the show, went in the house to give Ankita a hug. Apart from Ankita, he gave a hug to Munawar Faruqui, Mannara Chopra and Abhishek Kumar too. Karan had given Ankita the warm embrace for what she went through in the house with her mother-in-law aka Vicky Jain’s mother. Karan later tried to bash Vicky for the same but since Ankita stopped him, Karan just asked Vicky to respect Ankita back, the way she does him.

What exactly had happened

Vicky’s mother and Ankita went to the therapy room in the Bigg Boss 17 house during the family week. It is where everything began. Vicky’s mother revealed to Ankita that she called up her mother to ask if she ever kicked Ankita’s late father. Hearing so, Ankita was left shattered and only asked her mother-in-law to not involve her mother and talk to her directly if there’s any problem. The incident occurred after Ankita’s father passed away, which, as expected, left the actress more hurt. Netizens came in support of her for the same and Shweta is the latest to join in to show her vote of confidence for Ankita.
