There is some exciting news for fans of Dhanush. The actor is all set to collaborate with director Arun Matheswaran for the second time after Captain Miller. The film will be bankrolled by Dhanush's own production house, Wunderbar Films. The CEO of the production house dropped the official announcement on his social media handle along with a small poster.
The lines in the poster read, "We're elated to sign the visionary Arun Matheswaran for our next venture starring Dhanush sir." Dhanush replied to the post saying, "Looking forward @ArunMatheswaran @wunderbarfilms." The news has set the internet on fire. The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be announced.
With this announcement, Dhanush seems to have a series of projects in the pipeline, which includes D50, his project with Sekar Kammula, Raayan, a film with his Karnan director Mari Selvaraj and the latest project with Arun Matheswaran.
In the meantime, all eyes are on Captain Miller, which is said to be an out and out action entertainer in which Dhanush is said to be playing a fugitive rebel leader, who is most wanted by the British empire. Dhanush seems to be on a killing spree and at the forefront driving the battle with vengeance. Going by the teaser, it looks like Dhanush will be seen in one of his most violent avatars till date.
The film has an ensemble cast comprising Shiva Rajkumar (who now has a new fan following in Tamil Nadu after his dominating presence in Rajinikanth's Jailer), Sundeep Kishan, Priyanka Mohan, Nivedhitha Sathish, John Kokken, Elango Kumaravel to name a few.
Music for the film is by GV Prakash Kumar, cinematography by Vidhu Ayyanna, and editing is by Nagooran Ramachandran. The film is bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi Productions and is said to be one of the most hyped projects of Dhanush.
