Suriya’s Kanguva trailer to be released with Chiyaan Vikram-starrer Thangalaan?

Kanguva, the period fantasy film which stars Suriya in the lead role, is gearing up for its grand release in October 2024. The makers are planning a grand promotional campaign for the Siva directorial. As reported earlier, the long-awaited Kanguva trailer is gearing up for a grand release in August 2024. Reportedly, the official trailer of Suriya’s ambitious film is set to hit the theatres along with Thangalaan, the upcoming Chiyaan Vikram and Pa Ranjith film.

Kanguva trailer to hit the theatres with Vikram’s Thangalaan?

As per the recent updates, the Kanguva trailer, which is reportedly named ‘World Of Kanguva’ is set to hit the big screens along with Chiyaan Vikram’s much-awaited film Thangalaan. Studio Green, the production banner that bankrolls both the Siva directorial and Pa Ranjith’s period drama, is planning to make an official announcement very soon. In that case, the audience can expect the Kanguva trailer in theatres from August 15, 2024, along with Thangalaan. World Of Kanguva is expected to be released online, on the same day.

Kanguva release date

As reported earlier, the first part of Kanguva has been slated to hit the theatres on October 10, 2024, as an Ayudha Pooja release. The Siva directorial will mark Suriya’s comeback to the big screens, after his recent cameo appearance in the Akshay Kumar starrer Sarfira. The second installment of the Kanguva franchise, on the other hand, is gearing up to hit the big screen by the second half of 2025.

Thangalaan in theaters

The highly anticipated Chiyaan Vikram-starrer, which marks the popular actor’s first onscreen collaboration with talented filmmaker Pa Ranjith, is slated to be released on August 15, 2024. The movie, which was originally expected to hit the theatres in January, this year, was postponed to the second half of 2024 initially due to the delays in post-production, and later owing to the elections. The movie stars Parvathy Thiruvothu and Malavika Mohanan as the female leads.
