Kanguva, the period fantasy action film marks the first onscreen collaboration of Suriya and director Siva. The highly anticipated project, which has been under production for over two years, is reportedly gearing up for a Deepavali 2024 release. The Suriya fans and cine-goers have been criticising production banner Studio Green for the lack of updates on the project. However, the latest reports suggest that the Kanguva release date teaser is gearing up to hit the screens on the special occasion of the leading man’s 49th birthday.
Kanguva release date teaser to be out in July 2024?
If the recent updates are to be believed, the Kanguva release date teaser is gearing up to have its grand release on July 23, 2024, on the special occasion of Suriya’s 49th birthday. As the name suggests, the upcoming teaser will officially announce the most anticipated release date of the Siva directorial. However, the sources close to the project suggest that the period fantasy action film is slated to be released by the final week of October 2024, as a Deepavali special release.
Kanguva teaser to have voiceover by five superstars?
Some unconfirmed reports also suggest that the Kanguva teaser, which is slated to be released in five languages including Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi will have the voiceover of the biggest star of each industry. Rajinikanth, Mohanlal, Chiranjeevi, Yash, and Shah Rukh Khan, are expected to turn narrators for Suriya’s long-awaited teaser in their respective languages. However, none of these reports are officially confirmed by the makers, yet. A major announcement on the same is expected to be out very soon.
Suriya is appearing in a double role in Kanguva, which features Disha Patani as the female lead. Bobby Deol plays the lead antagonist in the film, which stars Kovai Sarala, Jisshu Sengupta, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Natarajan Subramaniam, Anand Raj, Ravi Raghavendra, KS Ravikumar, Deepa Venkat, and others in supporting roles. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music. Vetri Palanisamy is the director of photography. The period fantasy film is jointly produced by the banners Studio Green and UV Creations.
