Suriya's Kanguva goes international, plans to release in THESE foreign languages

Even as the glimpse of Kanguva, which was released on Suriya's birthday (July 23) sets one record after another, the latest we hear is that the film is all set to go international. The makers are planning to release the film in English, Korean and Japanese as well as they believe that the story will connect with all kinds of audience as its a universal subject.

Film producer Dhananjayen said in an interview to a regional channel recently, "Director Siva has taken a small part from history which happened eons ago and has converted that into a full-fledged fictional story. He believes that this is a story that needs to be told and that it will connect with people from across the world. The fact that we are planning to release the film in multiple foreign languages, is not just a random thought. We are considering Japanese, Korean and Chinese as well. Imagine we are planning to release in English as well!"

Suriya's look from the film has already gone viral and Dhananjeyan credits it to Suriya's dedication to the craft. "He would be ready on the sets by 6am. His makeup would have taken at least two hours before that. We were shooting in the middle of a forest and Suriya sir believed since the entire crew was on time, he cannot afford to delay the proceedings. Most of the incidents in the film happen in the forest. Siva sir was in complete awe of Suriya sir and he said, "I just need an actor like him and I can make any film."

Meanwhile, the glimpse of Kanguva has already clocked 30 million views and shows no sign of slowing down. The film has Bollywood actress Disha Patani playing the leading lady and Devi Sri Prasad scoring the music. Kanguva is bankrolled by KE Gnanavel Raja's Studio Green.
